Regina Coleman Compton, O.D. has been providing comprehensive eye care services in Pikeville and the people of Appalachia for 27 years. Dr. Compton was raised in Phelps, KY and graduated valedictorian from Phelps High School before attending Morehead State University.
A 1995 graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, IN, Dr. Compton worked three years at The Eye Site when it first opened and then spent nearly ten years as the optometrist at Wal-Mart before opening her own practice in 2007. Dr. Compton is a Board Certified Optometrist through the American Board of Optometrists.
Dr. Compton and her husband, Joe, live at Harold and have four children, Josh, Ryan, Parker, and Katelyn, and a grandson, Luke. She enjoys attending church, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
